...and good for these guys that something they put their hearts into paid off.
I've been playing it on and off for the past few weeks and it's pretty fun....nothing I could slam through in a few hours but good for breaks in hardcore gaming
I can honestly say as a lifelong gamer (and someone with a sizeable game collection), that a good 80% of my games are bought used, and I can also honestly say that a good chunk of those games would otherwise not have been bought if I had to buy them new at $50 or $60 instead of buying used at $35 or so.
And I guess it's a good thing I don't care about multiplayer because I sure as hell am not paying money on top of my purchase to play against aggravating people anyway...
not buying Qore, because it sucks, but there's not much justification for not buying PS+ if you want it.
However, I have about 5 GOOD reasons for not buying XBL Gold.
Netflix is free on PSN (XBL Gold required)
Hulu plus doesn't require PS+ (XBL Gold required)
Multiplayer is free on PSN
XBL Gold never gave me free games
XBL Gold never gave me 3 free months with MY $50
NESticle hasn't been updated in OVER 10 YEARS!!!
They are correct about GENS
Project64 has long been dying.
I have emulators for every pre-PS1 system on my gamecube through SD Media Launcher, playing the oldies on a computer screen just didn't feel right
...just a "worst" kind of person.
Most fanboys and other people who rip on other people for having different systems are at heart just really bad people. Weak-willed, callous, and quite frankly failures of individuals that would rather see someone else with nothing than be happy with what they themselves have.
..it was called Fur Fighters...it wasn't much fun then either.
I saw countless trailers of this on kotaku, which honestly was a bad sign considering I feel that they gave away the entire game in the trailers, and if this review is anything to go on, it sounds like my instinct was right.
Give it a month before it's down to $20
..is TOTALLY worth it at $35. This was a fantastic sleeper RPG that got virtually ignored because FF13 released the same day.
I went with this title instead, and I was only too happy afterwards. This game is an excellent RPG in it's own right and was worth it at $60, and it's a steal at $35.
....but not so much anymore, at least where I live.
Although considering where I live, we have 5 GameStops, a Disc Replay (indie shop), 3 GameWerks stores (local franchise), and up until recently, 2 Game Crazies.
So it's not like I didn't have other places to go, at least until the GameStops around here got over their fanboyism. They've gotten a LOT better in recent years, considering when I bought my 60GB, the kid at the desk tried to convince m...
...there is still a VERY large audience that has yet to be reached with current gen consoles.
Half the reason PS2 is still alive and kicking is because the Wii has kept past-gen quality titles churning out, and it's easy to port to PS2, so with new games still coming out, there's gotta be quite a bit of demand to justify the cost.
Not to mention things like widespread online communities, downloadable games, and movie/TV show distribution on PS3/360 ha...
..there's already been a few commercials with Taylor Swift, Peyton manning and Timberlake.
Also, if Megan Fox goes anywhere near a Move, she'll probably curse it to financial mediocrity with her lackluster acting and inability to turn a profit on a movie she stars in.
The most games I've owned at any one time was 20, give or take a few....either this is a trust fund kid with way too much time on his hands or he has a job as a 360 game reviewer
...have been lag-free for years thanks to my 22Mbps connection.
I upgraded from a wireless G to a wireless N, and I have yet to see a difference in anything other than range.
....now that's funny.
ALL the Sonic Characters? Ethan Mars? Cry me a river dude, and then replace numbers 1 through 8 with yourself.
....I've been waiting for a new episode now only to be told it's not gonna happen?
One more reason for me to hate Move. First Penny Arcade says their games are over and done with (with only two out of a planned five finished, along with 30 of my dollars), and now Heavy Rain is only gonna have ONE DLC episode?
Thanks for nothing.
this individual needs to learn some proper English...idiot.
...but no thanks. I won't do this for the same reason I don't normally rent games, I like the notion of physically owning what I spend my money on
a.k.a. - The British equivalent of a 25-year-old slab of porkfat whose too lazy or too useless to contribute a day of work to society.
And don't start in with "well maybe he has a genuine physical disability" crap, he looks like he's standing on his own two stubby feet just fine, and even if he DOES have a genuine medical condition, he's apparently decent enough with a computer to hold an office or work-at-home job.
...when I first saw the new Cole, the first word that popped into my head was "douchebag"
The old Cole had the weight of the world on his shoulders, and his voice, look and personality fitted that demeanor perfectly. By the time the game was over, he looked and sounded like the events of the game aged him.
This "new" Cole looks like he could be a contestant on Vh1's Tool Academy. He has a generic "pompous asshole" look to h...
...and it blew FF13 away...it was called "Resonance of fate", and it kicked so much ass!
